Business management of the crisis in the post-COVID scenario

A major national legal event will take place on December 13. Criminal and commercial judges will discuss issues related to the administration between both jurisdictions in the post-COVID scenario

The event, sponsored by Eactivos, in collaboration with El Economista, Gericó Associates and Thomson Reuters Aranzadi, can be followed both in person and via streaming, subject to free registration.

The director of the debate will be Eduardo de Urbano Castrillo, judge of the Provincial Court of Madrid on leave of absence, and currently Of Counsel of the firm Kepler-Karst. The conference will address crucial issues, from a legal perspective, for the future of business administration in this new scenario.

The first round table, moderated by Xavier Gil Pecharromán, director of Good Governance, Iuris & Lex and CSR of the El Economista Group, will deal with issues such as the consequences of the bankruptcy moratorium, the powers of bankruptcy administrators or the appointment and functions of legal administrators in the event of the intervention of companies.

The second round table, moderated by Jesús Santos Vijande, magistrate of the High Court of Justice of Madrid, will address issues such as the destination of confiscated assets and previous mercantile debts, the disappearance of the company and the receipt of subsequent income or compliance in business crises and punishable insolvencies.

In closing, Javier Zaragozano Aguado, a prosecutor in the Prosecutor’s Office of the Supreme Court, will tell us about a real experience: “The administration of the Pazo Bayón”.
