Founding & Global Managing Partner
Marc Gericó founded Gericó Associates in 2011 and has spent more than 15 years advising managing partners and executive committees across Europe and the Americas. He works on the moments that define a firm’s direction: internationalization, strategic repositioning, mergers, and high-impact crisis management. He has guided top-tier international firms through processes where the margin for error is minimal. He is the founder of the Gala Nacional del Derecho – Legal Leadership Awards, the Foro de Gerencias Legales, and Gericó Academy. He has completed Harvard Law School’s Leadership in Law Firms 2026 program.

María Sol Rubio has over 15 years of cross-border experience in the legal sector, where she has demonstrated her ability to lead and transform projects in both public and private arenas. With a background as a corporate lawyer in Argentina, she trained in marketing and communication for law firms in London, where she worked at Chambers and Partners making key strategic decisions regarding law firm rankings worldwide. Her expertise was further enhanced at Garrigues, where she led marketing and communication for the Latin American offices, before rejoining Gericó Associates to continue driving reputation and strategy for clients of all sizes in the legal sector.

Diana Jennen is a journalist, lawyer and polyglot. Member of the New York State Bar Association and the Legal Marketing Association (LMA), Jennen has been head of media at Cuatrecasas and has worked as a journalist for the Spanish television news channel Atresmedia and the European television channel Euronews. With a double degree in Journalism and Communications from Carlos III de Madrid University and a degree in Law from UNED University, Diana Jennen has a polyglot and international profile, with professional and academic experience in countries such as Germany, France and the Netherlands and a command of five languages: Spanish, English, German, French and Dutch.

With over 25 years of experience in top tier law firms, Mireya has worked at firms such as Kirkland & Ellis, Freshfields, Herbert Smith, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Hogan Lovells, McDermont Will & Emery and Shearman & Sterling LLP; among others. She has extensive experience in corporate finance, administration and management, international strategy, business development and revenue generation in the United States, Europe (Germany, France, UK, Belgium, Italy), the Middle East, Africa (Maghreb, Sub-Saharan region and South Africa) and Asia (especially China, Korea and Japan).
Irene Casanueva
Communications Manager
Irene Casanueva has spent most of her professional career as a journalist specialising in legal and court reporting in newspapers and news agencies. She is also familiar with the institutional side after working in the communications offices of public entities. She has a double degree in Law and Journalism from the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos and a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
Juan Paulo Rodríguez

Juan Paulo Rodríguez has built his career in law firm management and corporate legal departments, with experience at leading firms in the sector such as Gómez-Pinzón, one of the top firms in the Colombian market, and as a professor of leadership and law firm management at Universidad de los Andes, Colombia. Also specialized in LegalTech and business consulting, his practice at Gericó Associates covers strategy, leadership and management of law firms, career development plans and partner compensation systems, innovation, legal operations, process optimization and profitability.
Daniela Mutis

Daniela is a professional with a solid track record of more than 15 years of experience in the legal sector. She is a consultant in Strategic and Management Advisory, and was co-founder, in 2013, of the Colombian consulting firm RM Asesores. She has held leadership roles within important firms such as Lloreda Camacho (a firm highlighted by the prestigious Chambers and Partners directory), applying principles of efficient business management and business scorecards. Likewise, his focus on efficiency and profitability is based on the analysis of data and information for strategic decision making.
Abigail Cruz

Abigail is a lawyer graduated from the University of Lima (Peru), with a specialization in Corporate Law from ESAN Business Law. She has worked in renowned law firms, as well as in legal areas of prestigious Peruvian companies for more than 5 years. In addition, she has studies in Digital Marketing and Neuromarketing, as well as a solid experience in Strategic Communication, including the ability to create and execute marketing strategies, which makes her a highly versatile and valuable professional in the legal industry.
Zoyla Ampuero
Event Director
Zoyla is the Director of Events at Gericó Associates and has more than 15 years of experience in the organization and production of international events in Ecuador, Colombia, Chile, Bolivia, Brazil, Miami, Mexico, and Peru. She has consolidated high-level spaces that combine strategic networking, international partnerships, and institutional positioning. She holds a Business Administration degree from Universidad Ricardo Palma and a Business specialization from IPAE. She previously served as HeadLatam at Canal Arbitraje and currently acts as an Ambassador, promoting initiatives and strategic connections for the legal and business community.
María José Riva
Legal Design Lead
María José is a graphic designer with a specialization in advertising, trained at the Peruvian Institute of Advertising (IPP), with over seven years of professional experience. At Gericó Associates, she leads the Legal Design practice, with direct responsibility over branding and rebranding projects for client firms, the development of visual identities aligned with each firm’s strategy and market positioning, and the production of graphic assets for digital communication. She also oversees the design of web mockups that define the structure, visual language, and user experience of the firm’s digital projects.Her work combines aesthetic judgment with a clear understanding of the legal environment, enabling her to translate each client’s strategic positioning into a visual identity that communicates precisely to their key audiences.
Nikol Mera M.
Project Manager
Nikol is a lawyer from Universidad Libre de Cali (Colombia), with a Master’s Degree in IT Law and New Technologies from Universidad Externado de Colombia and a Master’s Degree in Marketing Management from ESIC University (Madrid). Her academic background is complemented by specialized training in digital marketing and social media.
Her professional career combines digital strategy, B2B campaign automation, and data analysis focused on decision-making, bringing an analytical and strategic perspective to communication within the legal sector.
Ana Karen
Head of Communications, LatAm
Ana Karen de la Torre is a senior consultant specializing in communications, strategy, business development, and project management across Latin America. She has more than 14 years of experience in communications projects and over seven years focused on analyzing the Latin American corporate legal market, having worked with law firms across different jurisdictions and of varying sizes.
Before joining Gericó Associates, she served as Editorial Director at LexLatin, where she led growth and positioning strategies, as well as the development of a specialized regional content agenda.
She holds degrees in Journalism and Law, as well as a Master’s degree in Strategic Business Administration.
Manuel Canales

Manuel Canales has built his professional career in marketing, communications, and business development within the legal sector, working directly with law firms on positioning strategies, international legal directories, corporate communications, and business development.
He has experience in projects related to Chambers and Partners, The Legal 500, and other international legal directories, as well as in developing visibility, content, and event strategies for law firms and legal professionals.
He currently serves as a Legal Marketing Consultant and Representative of Gericó Associates in Mexico, advising law firms and legal departments on marketing, business development, and strategic positioning projects.
