With more than 25 years of experience in the international legal sector, Mireya Berteau has built her career at some of the world’s most prestigious law firms and consulting firms, including Kirkland & Ellis, Freshfields, Herbert Smith, PwC, Hogan Lovells, McDermott Will & Emery and Shearman & Sterling LLP, among others. Throughout her career, she has held leadership positions related to corporate finance, administration and management, international strategy, business development and revenue generation, combining a strong strategic vision with a well-recognized operational capability in highly competitive environments.

Her experience spans key markets in the United States and Europe (Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Belgium and Italy), as well as the Middle East, Africa (the Maghreb, Sub-Saharan Africa and South Africa) and Asia (with a particular focus on China, Korea and Japan). This global exposure has enabled her not only to gain an in-depth understanding of the dynamics of large law firms, but also to identify best practices that can be replicated across different jurisdictions.
