At Gericó Associates we are celebrating a decade since we started guiding our clients. During this time, we have had hundreds of experiences to tell, we have gone through moments to remember, we have participated in unforgettable events and we have met people of great professional quality, but above all human.
Professional highlights of Gericó Associates
- In 2011 we start our journey: on 24 June 2011 we publish the first corporate entry under the title “Think big – Piense en grande”.
- We have always tried to be ahead of our time. Already between July and September 2013 we create one of the first Strategic Compliance Plans in Spain for a law firm, two years before the Organic Law 1/2015 of 30 March on the regulation of the criminal liability of legal persons came into force. That same year we were already working at full capacity, both in Madrid and Barcelona.
- In 2015 the Bankruptcy Administration of Banco Madrid appoints us to manage its communication crisis.
- In 2016 we organise the 1st edition of the Legal Marcom awards gala, open offices in Lima (Peru) and Bogotá (Colombia), and hold the 1st International Legal Marketing Congress at the Hilton Hotel in the Peruvian capital.
- In 2017 we hold the first Latin American Legal Forums (now in its 12th edition!). In addition, we advise one of the leading British firms -with a turnover of more than 450 million pounds- on its landing in the Spanish market.
- In 2018 we celebrate the second edition of the Legal Marcom and the first edition of Knowledge for Leadership. In recent years, our firm has already advised 4 of the 10 firms with the highest turnover globally.
- In 2019 we co-organise the World Law Congress in Madrid (and this year’s World Law Congress 2021 in Colombia, too!), and integrate the oldest consultancy firm in Colombia.
- In 2020, a really complicated year worldwide, we started operations in Mexico and Chile. During 2021 we have continued working and putting all our talent at the service of our clients’ business.
