Diana Jennen: “Being part of Gericó Associates is an exciting challenge”
After her recent incorporation as Director of Communication and Business for Spain and Latin America at Gericó Associates, Diana Jennen sees this new stage as a challenge and with a main objective: to put all her expertise acquired throughout her professional career at the service of clients. And this is how she expresses it in the interview conducted by Economist & Jurist.
Jennen, a graduate in Journalism and Audiovisual Communication from Universidad Carlos III and in Law from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED), is confident that “thanks to my knowledge in legal communication and my international and media experience, I will be able to bring a very complete know-how to the different law firms we work with”.
How to undertake a good communication strategy
The interviewer asks Jennen what are the essentials to undertake a good communication strategy, and the answer is clear: “the first step is always to make a thorough analysis of the business and its environment. In the communication audit we know how the market positions us and how the firm’s stakeholders (public of interest) perceive us”.
Having identified the firm’s key attributes and differential in this first step, “we design and implement a customized communication strategy for the company, to attract the firm’s different target audiences: current and potential clients, the media, young talent and other stakeholders in our sector,” adds the Dircom.

The communications department of Gericó Associates, after its new signing and successful implementation as a reference in the Latin American market, “will consolidate its position as a leading consulting firm in Spain”, as Jennen said in response to the question of whether the firm is considering a new communications strategy.
